• Introduction

Do you like a trip full of adventures and activities? Well,there is a place called as Rishikesh which is full of exciting adventures and acti vities!! I visited the place recently and this is my opinion for the place Rishikesh. Rishikesh has a lot of cool stuff. It is also known as the "Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas" and "Yoga Capital of the World". The ganga river flows through this city and the river is freezing cold throughout the year.

• Location and politics

Rishikesh is a city governed by Rishikesh Municipal Corporation and a tehsil in Dehradun district of the Indian state Uttarakhand.The city is located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India. It lies 21 km (13 mi) north of the city Haridwar and 45 km (28 mi) southeast of the state capital Dehradun. It is the seventh most populated city in the state of Uttarakhand.

• Activities

Now we'll talk about the amazing and adventurous activities. There are all type of activities here like water,land,air activities.

• Water Activites -



• Rapelling-Descend a rock face or other near-vertical surface by using a doubled rope coiled around the body and fixed at a higher point.


• River Rafting -It is a recreat ional outdoor activities which use an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water.

• Land Activites -



• Rock climbing- It is a sport in which participants climb up, across, or down natural rock formations or artificial rock walls.


• Go Karting - Kart racing is a race with road racing small cars.
